You will translate product requirements into robust technical solutions, lead a multidisciplinary team, and drive design and implementation of distributed systems and scalable APIs. As a senior engineer, you will foster cross-team collaboration, ensure observability, and contribute to architecture decisions while focusing on performance and growth in a fully

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Go and/or Python.
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL, with focus on transactions and migrations at scale.
• Strong experience with Kafka and building asynchronous workflows.
• Extensive experience building reliable, scalable user-facing applications.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS and container orchestration using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience building or improving CI/CD pipelines and a mindset of infra-as-code.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into robust technical solutions and lead engineering efforts to meet ambitious targets.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team and manage the team’s refinements and productivity.
• Design and implement reliable systems in a distributed micro-services architecture.
• Build and maintain integrations with 3rd-party vendors and partners.
• Design and implement highly available RESTful APIs for internal admin portals.
• Create reusable code and libraries to support scalability and cross-team collaboration.
• Enforce observability with logging, metrics, and alerting; document architectures and APIs.
• Monitor Rain systems to maximize performance and scalability.
• Ensure effective cross-team communication to align priorities and requirements.
