Lever, Inc. in Ireland is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Golang/TypeScript/React) for a data-intensive platform used by major organisations.

You will own features end-to-end, from design through production, combining Go backend with React/TypeScript frontend in a Docker-based environment. You will drive architecture choices, focus on reliability, observability, and clean-code practices, and collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver scalable solutions for large-scale

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Golang, including backend services.
• Strong frontend development with React and TypeScript.
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases (MariaDB or similar).
• Experience with Docker and containerised deployments.
• Ability to design scalable, reliable software architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab CI preferred.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Golang microservices and React/TypeScript frontend.
• Own features end-to-end from ideation to production.
• Build performant, accessible interfaces using React/TypeScript.
• Develop backend services and deploy via Docker-based environments.
• Influence architectural decisions balancing scalability and maintainability.
• Improve performance, reliability, and observability of systems.
• Maintain clean-code practices and documentation.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver solutions.
• Contribute to automation and new technologies for efficiency.
