Job summary

Unknown in Dublin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a frontend focus to join a growing engineering team. You will own frontend experiences for customer-facing products and contribute to full-stack features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will work with React and TypeScript, plus Remix/Next.js/Express, design RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and participate in CI/CD, testing, and production support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with a frontend focus.
• Proven experience building modern, responsive web apps using React and TypeScript.
• Experience with server-side TS frameworks: Remix, Next.js or Express.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring and production support.
• Proactive ownership and ability to lead technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and build intuitive frontend experiences using modern web technologies.
• Develop and deliver new full-stack features from concept through production.
• Integrate with existing services and expand platform functionality with React/TypeScript and backend tech.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, PMs, designers, and stakeholders on customer-centric solutions.
• Take ownership of projects across planning, architecture, implementation and deployment.
• Contribute to code reviews, engineering best practices and technical discussions.
• Help drive innovation and continuous improvement across the engineering organization.
