Alldus International Consulting Ltd is sourcing a Senior AI/ML Production Engineer for a global life sciences client based in Dublin. The role is a remote, 12-month daily-rate contract transforming experimental AI/ML models into secure, production-grade solutions for clinical trials.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software and 3+ years in production ML/MLOps, strong Python and ML framework skills, and expertise in AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including a minimum of 3 years focused on production ML engineering or MLOps.
• Expertise in Python, with libraries such as Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, FastAPI or Flask.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps and data orchestration tools such as MLflow, Databricks, Kubeflow, Airflow or DVC.
• Strong experience with AWS or Azure, alongside Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, Spark, distributed computing and large-scale data processing.
• Experience in life sciences domain is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Transform prototype Python algorithms and ML models into production-ready APIs, microservices, and data pipelines.
• Design and maintain enterprise CI/CD and MLOps pipelines for testing, deployment, versioning, and monitoring.
• Refactor research code to improve runtime performance, scalability, and memory efficiency for large datasets.
• Collaborate with backend and cloud teams to integrate AI services in AWS and Azure environments.
• Implement model monitoring, telemetry, and drift detection for long-term reliability in production.
• Ensure production systems comply with GDPR, HIPAA, GxP and other data privacy and regulatory requirements.
