Job summary

A Dublin-based pharmaceutical organization is seeking a qualified software engineer/data scientist to join its analytics team. You will develop and deploy AI/ML solutions in collaboration with software engineers, ensuring production-grade delivery in a SAFe Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 4-5 years in software engineering or ML, strong Python and SQL skills, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Spark/Databricks, and generative AI tools including LLMs and RAG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4-5 years in Software Engineering, Data Science or ML Engineering.
• Experience with advanced statistical techniques and machine learning for structured and unstructured data.
• Hands-on with generative AI solutions including LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering and evaluation.
• Proficiency in modern AI/ML tools and deploying predictive models to production.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; cloud experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and deploy AI/ML and generative AI solutions in production environments.
• Translate complex business processes into production-grade code and models.
• Collaborate with software engineers to deliver viable analytic products.
• Perform data analyses and create documentation, reports and reproducible artifacts.
• Ensure regulatory and GxP compliance in AI/ML development.
