Job summary

Huntress is seeking a Security Operations Center Analyst to triage, investigate, and remediate intrusions across global clients from a remote Ireland-based role. You will work within an elite SOC team focused on cutting-edge threat detection and response, with opportunities for career growth.

The role emphasizes analyzing alerts, applying MITRE ATT&CK knowledge, and collaborating across teams to protect customers. A strong foundation in Windows/Linux/MacOS and malware concepts is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a SOC/DFIR role.
• Demonstrated experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework and PowerShell/Command Prompt.
• Knowledge of malware analysis concepts (static/dynamic).
• Working knowledge of Windows administration and enterprise domain administration.
• Understanding of core networking concepts.
• Familiar with web technologies and related concepts.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex events to non-technical audiences.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow in the role.

Responsibilities

• Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the Huntress platform.
• Perform root-cause analysis using EDR telemetry, logs, and artifacts; provide remediation steps.
• Conduct tactical malware analysis as part of incident triage.
• Investigate suspicious MS 365 activity and propose remediation.
• Assist in escalations from Product Support on threat-related questions.
• Contribute to detection engineering and tuning efforts.
• Collaborate with mentors and team to drive better outcomes.
