Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to deploy and manage cloud-native platform services for AI and data workloads, with a focus on automation, self-service capabilities, and secure, compliant environments.

You will configure and operate Kubernetes-based platforms, implement IaC with Terraform, and uphold CI/CD best practices while collaborating with global teams. Remote role with occasional international travel may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 3+ years in Platform/Cloud Engineering or related role.
• Experience deploying and supporting Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized apps.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform or similar) and GitOps.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP, cloud networking and security fundamentals.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and operational support of cloud-native services.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment, configuration and operation of cloud-native platform services for cloud, data and AI workloads.
• Implement automation and standardized deployment patterns using IaC, GitOps, CI/CD, and Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Define platform configurations, security controls and observability requirements for reliable services.
• Support engineering teams with self-service capabilities and technical guidance.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure operational continuity.
