Job summary

Hilo by Aktiia is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager - Paid Search to own the paid search strategy across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, driving growth through data-driven optimization, testing and channel expansion. You will work with analytics and product teams to maximize ROI.

You will operate in a remote-first Europe-wide environment, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, with occasional travel to events.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on paid search experience in an international setting with budgets and measurable results.
• Deep expertise in Google Ads and strong experience with Microsoft Advertising.
• Data-driven approach with rigorous testing and commercial judgment.
• Track record of improving conversion rates, acquisition efficiency and ROI across multiple markets.
• Experience with media planning and performance forecasting.
• Experience launching and evaluating paid channels beyond search.
• Ability to set direction and influence colleagues while staying close to campaign execution.
• Practical experience using AI and automation with judgment to verify outputs.
• Nice to have: health tech, medical devices, wearables, or subscription products.

Responsibilities

• Set the paid search strategy across specified markets and growth areas.
• Lead campaign strategy and execution across Search, Shopping and Performance Max; collaborate with partners.
• Manage budgets, pacing, bidding and investment across platforms.
• Measure performance against CAC, conversion, revenue and ROI using internal data and platform reports.
• Build a testing roadmap for keywords, audiences, creative, feeds and landing pages; optimize accordingly.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, creative and analytics teams to improve tracking and customer journey.
• Utilize AI tools and automation to accelerate research and execution, while validating outputs.
• Develop and test additional paid channels such as native advertising; scale successful methods.
• Present results, risks and opportunities with a clear point of view on next steps for Hilo.
