Job summary

EvolveTalent is seeking a Field Service Power Distribution Engineer (LV) to support customers across Ireland. This home-based role involves travelling to customer sites and, depending on assignments, travel across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Experience with low voltage switchgear or power distribution equipment.
• MV switchgear experience encouraged.
• Field service, commissioning, installation or maintenance experience.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Customer-focused approach with good communication.
• Willingness to travel across Ireland and, where required, within the EMEA region.
• Full Irish driving licence.
• Existing right to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain LV switchgear and power distribution equipment.
• Perform testing, fault finding and troubleshooting activities.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites.
• Support commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and procedures.
• Build relationships with customers during site visits.
• Prepare technical reports following service activities.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and project teams.
