Job summary

n8n is hiring for an IT Operations role to make our IT environment reliable, secure, and scalable while reducing manual work through thoughtful automation.

You will own identity and access management across Okta, Google Workspace, GitHub, and SaaS apps, and oversee employee lifecycle workflows, endpoint management for macOS devices, and secure device operations across a distributed company.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in IT systems administration, SaaS administration, IAM, or workplace engineering in a distributed company.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Workspace and an identity provider (Okta or Entra ID).
• Managed onboarding, offboarding, groups, roles, and deprovisioning.
• Administered macOS devices via MDM (Kandji, Jamf, JumpCloud, Workspace ONE).
• Demonstrated ability to improve or automate operational processes using APIs, scripting, or AI‑assisted tooling.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication concepts, and integration troubleshooting.
• Strong ownership, judgment, rigor, and responsible handling of privileged data and changes.
• Clear communication, thorough documentation, and reliable internal user experience.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day identity and access management across Okta, Google Workspace, GitHub, and connected SaaS apps.
• Manage employee and application lifecycle workflows: provisioning, access changes, group assignments, troubleshooting, deprovisioning.
• Maintain SaaS inventory and support app administration, lifecycle management, access governance, and reconciliation.
