Job summary

Crown, Ireland's leading specialist roofing, cladding and façade contractor, is seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team across Ireland and Europe. This full-time role offers remote or hybrid working with travel to project sites as required, reporting to the Commercial Manager and supporting procurement through final accounts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related field.
• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial management, cost control and contracts.
• Experience with valuations, variations, subcontractor management and final accounts.
• Strong numerical/analytical skills and IT proficiency (Excel).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full, clean driving licence; based in Ireland or the UK; valid passport; travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs, budgets and cash flow.
• Prepare interim valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Assist with tender pricing, procurement and submissions.
• Manage subcontractor accounts and payment applications.
• Monitor costs and financial performance, identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and commercial documentation.
• Review contracts and support contract administration.
• Collaborate with Commercial Manager, Project Managers and site teams.
• Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Carry out site measurements and assess progress.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and ensure obligations are met.
• Travel to project sites in Ireland and Europe as required.
