Jobgether SRL is seeking an Accountant (m/f/d) based in Ireland to manage the accounting of German entities within an international software group. The role covers day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting, with close collaboration with external advisors and payroll providers.

The position is fully remote within Europe, offering exposure to cross-border finance operations, budgeting, and process improvements.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional accounting experience with German practices under HGB and German tax requirements.
• Experience in software/tech or SaaS industries.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of German VAT and payroll tax declarations.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial data handling.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) is a plus.
• Experience managing multiple legal entities or multi-currency accounting is advantageous.
• Professional accounting qualification is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day accounting for German legal entities with accuracy and timeliness.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes and month-end journal entries.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist with financial analysis.
• Handle supplier payments, bank transfers, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare German VAT filings and support payroll tax declarations.
• Assist with annual financial statements per HGB and audits.
• Improve internal controls and streamline accounting processes.
• Produce KPIs and management reports with data accuracy.
