Cpl Group is seeking a General Accountant to support European entities, with emphasis on Germany. The role involves managing statutory audits, tax computations, and US GAAP reporting, including German GAAP bridge reconciliations and pension forecasting.

You will liaise with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring compliance and accurate month-end close. Strong English communication and German GAAP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with practical experience in German GAAP (HGB) and US GAAP.
• Experience with SOX controls and high-volume data reconciliations in Excel.
• Excellent analytical abilities and clear English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage statutory audits, tax computations, and month-end US GAAP reporting for European entities.
• Oversee German pension forecasting models and month-end processes.
• Deliver quarterly ASC740 tax computations and US GAAP reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure annual compliance.
