Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Front-End Software Developer to join our Ireland-based technology team. You will design, develop and maintain modern web applications focusing on user experiences and accessibility, with opportunities to contribute to API integrations and full-stack work as needed.

You will collaborate with designers, product and business stakeholders in an Agile environment, write clean code using React, Next.js, Angular, TypeScript and RESTful APIs, and participate in testing, reviews

Qualifications

• Professional software development experience with focus on web technologies.
• Experience building and deploying modern web applications in a commercial environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Exposure to full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications with strong UX.
• Collaborate with designers, product teams and stakeholders on interfaces.
• Develop clean, maintainable code using modern web technologies.
• Integrate web apps with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Contribute to front-end and back-end activities when required.
• Develop and maintain automated testing solutions to ensure quality.
• Participate in peer code reviews and continuous improvement.
• Work with cross-functional teams including developers, QA and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and stand-ups.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimise existing applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
