Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Backend Software Developer in Ireland to design, build and support scalable cloud-based services with a strong Azure focus. You will create RESTful APIs, manage databases (SQL/NoSQL) and contribute to CI/CD efforts in a collaborative, Agile environment.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that enhances operational efficiency and user experiences while benefiting from flexible/remote working arrangements and a strong focus on

Qualifications

• Proven experience building scalable web applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Strong RESTful API development skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality backend services using Azure cloud technologies.
• Develop and support RESTful APIs and services for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and reliability.
• Build scalable, resilient cloud-native applications and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews and best practices.
