Job summary

ORS is recruiting for an assigned certifier (engineer, architect or building surveyor) to influence major projects across Ireland, with a focus around Munster. You will work autonomously, collaborate with high-performing colleagues, and enjoy a remote-first hybrid model while visiting diverse sites across the country.

The role requires knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, on-site inspections, design coordination, and strong leadership capabilities to guide a growing team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture or Building Surveying is required.
• Chartered or Registered status is essential.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
• Proactive mindset with a desire to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Define each project's scope of work and deliverables.
• Provide technical design oversight and carry out on-site inspections.
• Carry out inspections aligned with Building Regulations and Inspection Plans.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to clients and project teams on compliance matters.
• Nurture client relationships and maintain ORS service delivery excellence.
• Lead, mentor and contribute to a growing team.
