Job summary

ORS is a world-class multidisciplinary building consultancy in Ireland seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our expanding team. You will manage projects for clients, including feasibility studies, long-range planning, and full design services from programming through construction.

The role offers a remote-first hybrid model with flexible hours, CPD funding, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• Level 8 qualification in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of experience in engineering in construction, preferably consultancy.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction & engineering principles.
• Chartership preferred but not essential.
• Experience leading the design and delivery of Civil & Infrastructure projects.
• Excellent technical design skills and knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Management of projects for clients, including feasibility studies, long-range planning studies, and full design services.
• Programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and services during construction for design/bid/build and design/build projects.
• Ability to lead design teams and coordinate with stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
