Job summary

ORS is seeking an engineer, architect or building surveyor to fulfil the assigned certifier role across Ireland, with autonomy and a focus around the Munster area. The role offers remote-friendly working and opportunities to influence major projects within a progressive, people-focused building consultancy.

You will oversee technical design, inspections, and compliance with Building Regulations, while mentoring a growing team and nurturing strong client relationships in a diverse project

Qualifications

• Essential: Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture or Building Surveying degree
• Chartered or Registered status
• Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and on-site inspections

Responsibilities

• Determine and define each project's scope of work and deliverables
• Technical design oversight and on-site inspections
• Carry out inspections aligned with Building Regulations and Inspection Plans
• Provide technical advice and guidance to clients and project teams on compliance matters
• Nurture strong client relationships and uphold ORS service delivery excellence
• Bring leadership, mentorship, and experience to a growing team
