Job summary

ORS, Ireland’s progressive building consultancy, is seeking an engineer, architect or building surveyor to join as an assigned certifier. You’ll influence major projects and work with autonomy, collaborating with top colleagues while benefiting from a remote-first hybrid model.

This role covers on-site inspections, technical design oversight, and guidance on compliance with Irish Building Regulations. A relevant degree and Chartered or Registered status are essential, along with strong

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering, Architecture or Building Surveying.
• Chartered or Registered status.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and on-site inspections.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine and define each project's scope of work and deliverables.
• Technical design oversight and on-site inspections.
• Carry out inspections aligned with Building Regulations and Inspection Plans.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to clients and project teams on compliance matters.
• Nurture strong client relationships and uphold ORS service delivery excellence.
• Bring leadership, mentorship, and experience to a growing team.
