Job summary

PUNCH Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced Assigned Certifier to join our BCAR certification team in Ireland. The role involves managing the Assigned Certification process across a range of project types, reporting to the Assigned Certifier Manager, and ensuring regulatory compliance on site.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in BCAR/Building Control, with qualifications as an Architect, Building Surveyor, or Chartered Engineer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in building control/BCAR related work.
• Strong knowledge of BCAR Regulations and Inspection Plans.
• Leadership skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation for tender and submission processes.
• Manage BCAR completion and statutory submissions.
• Review Ancillary Certifier quality monitoring and ensure compliance.
