Keelings is hiring a Business Development Executive to join our Flowers team. You will report to the National Sales Manager and develop new sales opportunities while maximizing sales from existing customers across Limerick and surrounding areas.

A competitive salary structure, company van, phone and laptop are provided and there is scope to progress to key account manager. As a field sales role, you will plan and carry out marketing and sales activities, conduct market research and cold call

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out marketing and sales activities to achieve targets, volumes, values and margin.
• Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys to identify growth potential.
• Cold calling of new and existing customers to grow sales.
• Coordinate transport to ensure profitable routes.
• Target sales growth in agreed store call list.
• Identify opportunities in stores not dealing with flowers.
• Ensure customers are satisfied and queries are resolved quickly.
• Advise stores on range, merchandising and ordering patterns to maximize sales and reduce waste.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• This is a field sales role with quarterly visits to the Dublin head office.
