Job summary

Reap is expanding its card-issuing platform globally. We seek an Engineering Manager for Card Market Expansion to own end-to-end delivery, regulatory alignment, and cross-team coordination across NA, EMEA, and LATAM.

You will guide architecture, collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Infrastructure, and ensure reliable operations post-launch. You’ll mentor engineers, balance delivery velocity with platform health, and drive scalable improvements across card services, with a strong focus on

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role.
• Experience building and operating payments, risk/fraud, card infrastructure, financial reconciliation, or API platforms.
• Ability to lead cross-functional engineering initiatives and drive architectural decisions.
• Strong systems thinking to design fault-tolerant, observable, and scalable services.
• Commitment to code quality, reliability, and peer review; ability to work with others who share high standards.
• Clear communication; ability to challenge ideas respectfully and raise team quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end engineering delivery for market entry across NA, EMEA, LATAM.
• Coordinate regulatory integration, processor configuration, and cross-team dependencies.
• Lead cross-team launches for Card programs with Product, Compliance, Legal, Treasury, Onboarding, and Infrastructure.
• Define and maintain BAU stability, runbooks, incident response, and SLAs for live markets.
• Drive continuous improvement based on production signals and reinforce platform health.
• Contribute to core card system enhancements while ensuring scalable, reusable solutions.
