Job summary

Amwell in Ireland seeks a part-time Behavioural Health Coach to support users in Mental Health and Wellbeing programmes. You will provide written reviews, motivate engagement, and collaborate with clinical supervisors to ensure safe, effective care. The role emphasizes empathy, digital literacy, and clear written communication.

You will work approximately 20 hours per week, with a focus on online programmes and supportive guidance for anxiety, depression and stress.)

Qualifications

• Currently undertaking or have completed a Master’s degree and/or a Doctorate in Psychology, Social Care, Psychotherapy or Counselling and be registered with a recognised professional body in Ireland
• Strong understanding of Online Mental Health Services
• Experience in Children & Young People services is desirable
• Excellent communication, writing and typing skills; clear and personal written communication
• Comfort using multiple technological tools and adapt to new tech quickly
• Empathetic, observant, and able to support users and motivate them
• Good judgement with supervision; able to recognise limits of training and consult supervisor

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellence and innovation in digital behavioural health coaching
• Review user engagement and motivate, support and manage health and wellbeing through online programmes
• Provide weekly written reviews to support and guide users through their programme
• Monitor content for potential concern and escalate appropriately
• Demonstrate supportive presence and help users set realistic, personalized goals
• Encourage programme use to meet identified goals and maintain engagement
• Collaborate with clinical supervisor team to respond to users and promote safety and access to treatment
• Attend monthly meetings with manager and supervisor
