Job summary

Jobgether in Ireland is seeking a Test Craftsperson/Automation engineer to join a remote-first engineering team. You will own testing across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with developers in a continuous deployment environment to ensure high-quality releases.

The role combines functional testing, automation, programming, and cloud-infrastructure work. You will build and evolve automation frameworks, use AI responsibly to improve test coverage, and apply Agile and DevOps

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Automation QA/QA Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with Cypress or Playwright and JavaScript.
• Experience building/maintaining test automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end testing across the SDLC within a CD environment.
• Plan and execute functional and automated tests; develop test scenarios.
• Build and evolve automation frameworks with modern tech.
• Use AI tools to generate/test cases and accelerate documentation.
• Develop and maintain automated scripts and troubleshoot failures.
• Collaborate with analysts and developers in an Agile/DevOps setting.
• Contribute to programming, cloud infra, testing envs as needed.
• Apply XP, Agile, DevOps practices to improve quality.
