Job summary

Berkley Group is seeking experienced Automation Testers for contract roles in Dublin. Roles require 5+ years of hands-on test automation experience on modern web applications and automated testing frameworks. Rate up to €370 per day with no sponsorship available.

Qualifications

Job description

We are currently recruiting for multiple Automation Tester contract positions for an enterprise technology programme. These roles would suit experienced QA professionals with 5+ years of hands-on test automation experience, particularly those who have worked on modern web applications and automated testing frameworks.

Automation Testers Dublin based Rate 370 euro per day

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
• Build and execute automated tests using Playwright
• Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing
• Analyse requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases
• Identify, document and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle
• Work closely with developers, business analysts and other QA professionals
• Maintain test cases, defects and testing activity within Jira
• Support continuous improvement of automation coverage and testing processes
• Contribute to testing activities within Agile delivery teams

Required Experience

• 5+ years' experience in software testing / QA, with a strong focus on automation
• Strong hands-on experience developing automated tests using Playwright
• ISTQB certification
• Strong experience using Jira for defect and test management
• Good understanding of automation frameworks and testing best practices
• Experience with functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing
• Experience working within Agile / Scrum development environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively with development and wider delivery teams

Desirable Experience

• API testing and automation
• CI/CD integration of automated test suites
• JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience working on large enterprise applications
• Exposure to cloud-based or microservices environments
