Brightflag is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure our AI‑first platform delivers best‑in‑class experiences for legal teams. You’ll work in a collaborative Product & Engineering squad, designing and executing tests across manual and automated workflows and introducing AI tools where it adds value.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 year hands‑on functional testing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to write & maintain test cases and bug reports.
• Experience testing Web Applications and REST API services (e.g. Postman).
• Experience with product & test management systems (Jira, Confluence).
• Self-starter with ability to drive product quality within the team.
• Strong ability to analyse, estimate and plan work within a team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across squads.
• Solid QA methodologies, processes, and quality improvements.
• Growth mindset in QA (reporting, troubleshooting, specialized testing).
• Some knowledge of automation testing (Playwright Java/Typescript).

Responsibilities

• Work within an agile team to ensure feature quality.
• Define, develop and maintain test cases with data sets and configurations.
• Organise test priorities and integrate into regression/automation suites.
• Execute manual testing for feature verification and regression.
• Influence quality processes and act as agent of change.
• Grow as a quality assurance teammate with product knowledge and skills.
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to size testing effort.
• Use AI-assisted testing tools to accelerate test case generation and automation scripts.
