Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to evaluate AI-generated media on a flexible, remote schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, compare AI-generated images and videos, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off to help improve system behavior.

This is a 1099 freelance opportunity with weekly pay and access to leading LLMs. Applicants from multiple countries can apply, with payment via ACH, PayPal, or AirTM.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Experience writing concise explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models and ranking how natural and clear each sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors and audio mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
• Work remotely on a flexible schedule as part of freelance assignments.
