Job summary

Genesys is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join the Conversational AI team, designing and developing high-quality software using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS. You will work on AI-powered features that enhance customer experiences, while collaborating in an Agile, full-stack environment across Front-End, Back-End, and Data layers.

You should have 3+ years of web development experience, strong UI/UX sensibility, and familiarity with REST services, Git, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of web development experience delivering UX-driven designs.
• Strong skills in Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience consuming and building REST Web services; version control with Git.
• Familiar with CI/CD processes and technologies; proactive and growth-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high quality, efficient software to implement key product features.
• Bring features through design, test, deploy and maintain cycles.
• Understand overall system architecture and wider ecosystem.
• Participate in team code reviews and follow UX best practices.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining engineering standards.
• Apply data security, traceability and information-sharing practices.
