Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Computer Engineering - AI Data Trainer for a remote hourly contract. You will craft advanced engineering challenges, write ground-truth solutions, and audit AI-generated hardware software artifacts to improve model training.

Eligible candidates hold a Masters or PhD in Computer Engineering or CS with a hardware focus and possess strong knowledge in Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, and OS concepts. No AI experience is required, with 10–40 hours per week commitment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Computer Engineering, CS with hardware focus, or related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge in core areas: Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, Digital Logic Design, or Operating Systems.
• Excellent ability to communicate highly technical hardware concepts and low-level software logic clearly in writing.
• High precision when checking bit-level operations, clock-cycle timing, and technical documentation.
• No AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex problems across domains like RISC-V/ARM architecture, FPGA development, memory management, and hardware-software co-design.
• Author ground-truth solutions with step-by-step technical content, including assembly code, HDL snippets, and architectural diagrams.
• Technically audit AI-generated code (C/C++, Verilog, VHDL), logic designs, and OS kernels for accuracy and standards compliance.
• Refine model reasoning by identifying logical fallacies and providing structured feedback to improve AI thinking.
