Job summary

The Rehab Group in Tralee is seeking a Relief Care Worker for a fixed term of 6 months to provide personal care within a high support residential service. The role supports individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health difficulties, promoting dignity and person-centered care.

QQI Level 5 in Social Care is required, with teamwork, confidentiality and a full clean driving licence. Benefits include a company pension, health and wellbeing programs, leave options and flexible

Qualifications

Minimum QQI Level 5 in Social Care or equivalent.
Ability to work effectively in a team providing person-centered support.
Maintain privacy and confidentiality of service users at all times.
Full Clean Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

Promote teamwork and create a nurturing environment for service users.
Facilitate and implement a person-centered service based on the needs and wishes of service users.
Ensure interactions with service users are conducted with dignity, respect and equality, incorporating choice.
