Silver Stream Healthcare Group in Ballincurrig, County Cork, is seeking a Relief Activities Co-Ordinator to join our team. You will lead group and individual activities to enhance residents’ emotional, physical and social wellbeing, creating a warm, home-like atmosphere.

You’ll work collaboratively with care staff, adapting activities to residents’ interests and needs, while promoting autonomy, joy and meaningful participation in daily life.

Competenze

• Experience in a healthcare or social care setting preferred.
• Ability to plan engaging activities for residents.
• Strong communication and empathy with residents and staff.

Mansioni

• Organize group and one-to-one activities promoting social, physical and mental wellbeing.
• Support residents in exploring new hobbies and pastimes.
• Create an inclusive, engaging and accessible activities programme.
• Foster autonomy, confidence and a sense of purpose through positive engagement.
• Collaborate with nursing and care staff to understand residents’ interests and needs.
• Document participation and progress, including photos and consent where required.
