Job summary

Ethos Care is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver engaging activities for residents in our Connacht care home. You will enhance wellbeing through meaningful recreational and social programmes, tailored to individual needs, with support from a friendly team.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or related field.
• Experience working with older persons (desirable).
• Creative, positive, and engaging personality.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver activities that support resident wellbeing.
• Encourage participation and tailor activities to individual needs.
• Build relationships with residents and the local community.
• Maintain records of engagement and participation.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with care standards.
