Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Regulatory Governance Analyst to maintain regulatory registers and MRMs, delivering regulatory processes within the CAO group. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and cross-functional support across Europe and local jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will analyze regulatory requirements, produce management information, and support change programs, with a hybrid/flex schedule and opportunities for growth within a major financial services organisation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Fitness & Probity Regime, UK SMCR, SEAR or ESMA/EBA guidelines.
• Translate business requirements into structured analysis.
• Experience with stakeholders in a regulated financial services environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience producing management information, reports or decision-support materials.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain live Registers and Management Responsibility Maps (MRM) to ensure DAC compliance.
• Provide guidance on people-related regulatory requirements and impact on operations.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across levels of the business.
• Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures.
• Identify gaps in regulatory processes and drive improvements.
• Contribute to design of regulatory policies, procedures, and training.
• Stay updated on new and pending laws affecting the business.
• Support regulatory change projects within the CAO change program.
• Assist with periodic risk and control reviews.
• Provide MI, analysis and reporting to identify trends and risks.
• Support data gathering and insights across the CAO group.
• Help develop consistent reporting, governance and processes across CAO activities.
