Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join a leading financial services client in Ireland. The role suits audit professionals moving into industry or compliance specialists seeking broader regulatory exposure.

You will investigate screening alerts, analyze legislation, and help implement key controls while collaborating with finance, operations and senior management to manage regulatory risk.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified Accountant / Auditor (ACA, ACCA, CPA) or Recognised Compliance/Risk Qualification (ACOI).
• Experience gained within practice, internal audit, risk, or financial services compliance.
• Strong analytical capabilities, high attention to detail, and familiarity with risk/control assessment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and explain complex requirements clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into screening alerts, query transactional details, and document clear audit trails.
• Analyze emerging legislation, Central Bank expectations, and industry impacts to advise internal business stakeholders.
• Participate in optimization initiatives to streamline testing frameworks, reduce manual touchpoints, and mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with business owners to evaluate, update, and implement key controls, policies, and compliance initiatives.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships across finance, operations, senior management, and external bodies.
