Job summary

Monzo in Dublin is seeking a Regulatory Affairs professional to strengthen regulatory relationships with Irish and European regulators. You will work in the second line of defence within Risk and Compliance, coordinating with Executives and other stakeholders to meet regulatory expectations.

You will prepare regulator meetings, submissions, and proactive notifications, driving governance of regulatory deliverables and ensuring timely responses to information requests.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in regulatory affairs within Irish/European financial services.
• Knowledge of Central Bank of Ireland and/or ECB obligations.
• Strong relationships with regulators and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead multiple projects to tight deadlines.
• Critical thinker who challenges the status quo.
• Self-motivated, highly organised and execution-focused.
• Team player who can work independently with changing priorities.
• Genuine interest in regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing for and facilitating regulator meetings, reviews and requests.
• Keeping regulators up to date with proactive notifications and incident communications.
• Owning governance of regulatory deliverables, deadlines and activities.
• Submitting and managing technically complex regulatory submissions.
• Coordinating with risk and compliance SMEs for regulator visits.
• Preparing data driven reports for Executives that are clear and concise.
• Building and enhancing policies for regulator engagement.
• Championing risk and compliance and fostering stakeholder relationships.
