Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking a Frontline Technical Lead in Ireland to support the Asset Operations function. You will provide technical leadership, ensure safety standards, and act as the first point of contact for incidents affecting Drinking Water assets.

You will collaborate across regional teams to resolve operational and maintenance challenges and uphold regulatory compliance. The role involves mentoring frontline staff, auditing safety processes, and delivering efficient, compliant asset

Qualifications

• Relevant third level qualification and/or accreditation in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirable.
• We keep each other safe and understand health & safety culture.
• Knowledge of Drinking Water treatment and networks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline technical leadership and coaching to team leads.
• Act as escalation point for technical/engineering issues on Drinking Water assets.
• Oversight of Safety Management System adherence and incident reporting.
• Coordinate with Centre of Excellence and other UE functions to resolve operations issues.
• Manage site inspections, audits, and performance KPIs for assets.
