Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking a Water Plant Operations Lead to manage treatment services for regional plants, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and excellent customer service. You will lead field teams, coordinate with asset planning, and drive continuous improvements in operations and maintenance.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years of relevant experience, and expertise in water treatment assets, with a focus on safety culture and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Relevant third level qualification and/or accreditation desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience is required.
• Knowledge of water or wastewater treatment and/or the maintaining and repairing of water or wastewater treatment and network assets is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the provision of treatment services for a plant/plants within a region and ensure regulatory compliance and customer service standards.
• Lead and develop the Water Treatment Operations team to deliver safe operation and maintenance of assets.
• Coordinate with Asset Planning and other teams for investment plans and improvements.
• Manage budgets and resources to deliver services within budget and ensure timely reporting of KPIs.
