Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking an Electrical LV Technical Lead to guide asset operations engineering and maintenance planning across national Water and Wastewater networks. You will drive technical reviews, ensure audit-ready documentation, and support capital maintenance programs.

As a key member of Engineering Services, you will collaborate with Asset Planning, Health & Safety, and Operational Continuity teams to deliver compliant, reliable and safe water services for Ireland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in maintenance management for LV assets.
• Electrical LV expertise with regulatory knowledge.
• Desirable third-level qualification in engineering or accreditation.
• Experience in water/utilities sector.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to varied stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist LV electrical engineering expertise across Asset Operations.
• Act as Competent / Authorized Person where required.
• Ensure certification and documentation are auditable and up-to-date.
• Deliver maintenance strategy and asset class reviews.
• Progress work-orders through Maximo and coordinate with engineering services.
• Support safety assessments and incident response with technical guidance.
• Collaborate with Asset Planning, Health & Safety, and Operational Continuity teams.
