Job summary

SeaCube is seeking a Manager of Technical Services and M&R to oversee all M&R processes, depot vendor management, and QC administration across the Asia Pacific region.

The role requires strong technical knowledge in shipping equipment, experience in depot audits, and fluency in English and Chinese. You will drive cost control, dispute resolution, and training for internal staff and depots, with frequent travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree holder.
• Technical knowledge in shipping equipment preferred.
• Experience in shipping and container leasing context.
• Knowledge of reefer container refrigeration systems.
• Familiar with IICL and Cargo Worthy inspection standards.
• IICL certified inspector is an advantage.
• Experience in depot audits and depot training.
• Frequent travel required.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, with strong written skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage repair vendors/depots within the region.
• Assess and set repair cost tariffs to verify off-hire estimates.
• Monitor depot off-hire repair costs and quality.
• Handle customer off-hire disputes.
• Coordinate customer approvals for off-hire damages.
• Manage owner repair approvals.
• Address M&R issues and dispute resolution.
• Conduct physical depot repairs audits and depot facilities.
• Administer depot quality control program.
• Monitor M&R reports via EDI and internal systems.
• Provide M&R and technical training to staff and depots.
• Understand off-hire survey process and oversee surveyors.
