ESB is seeking a Safety Technical & Services Supervisor (STSS) to support local management, staff and contractors in achieving safety objectives across the South-East Region. The role focuses on driving safety improvements, monitoring trends, conducting investigations, and reporting on safety performance.

Reporting to the Technical Manager South-East Region, the STSS will promote a strong safety culture, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with Safety Management Systems and

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
• Advanced Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate / Level 7 or higher qualification in Electrical, Electrical Services, Electronics, Mechanical with sizeable electrical theory content.
• Full driving licence.
• Experience and knowledge of Distribution Assets, MV/LV/Stations and associated Standards.
• Knowledge of Electrical Safety Rules and Safety Legislation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Ensure staff and contractor personnel complete work safely to required standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment for staff, contractors and the public.
• Carry out safety and quality audits and provide feedback on performance.
• Monitor Safety Management System and local safety plans to achieve improvements.
• Coordinate safety improvement plans with staff, contractors and the public.
• Promote a positive safety culture and lead Safety Towards Zero Accidents.
• Reporting and KPI on safety performance with staff and contractors.
