Job summary

EllisDon is seeking a Regional Manager, Health, Safety & Environment to lead HSE across Ireland. You will drive the implementation and continuous improvement of our HSE management system, ensuring compliance with Irish legislation and client standards.

You will provide strategic advice to operational leaders, promote a strong safety culture, coordinate audits and training, and support incident investigations while traveling across Ireland to sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in construction, safety, environmental, or compliance.
• Experience supporting multi-site operations and facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Understanding of HSE management systems and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of EllisDon’s HSE management system across Ireland.
• Provide strategic guidance to operations on health, safety, environmental, and compliance matters.
• Promote a positive safety culture through leadership, coaching, and training initiatives.
• Develop and implement annual HSE plans, campaigns, and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Irish legislation and client-specific standards.
• Monitor legislation changes and communicate impacts to leaders.
• Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and site inspections.
• Lead investigations of incidents, injuries, and near-misses.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
