Job summary

The Johnstown Estate in Enfield, Co. Meath, Ireland, is seeking a proactive field-based Sales Executive to generate new business across Ireland for Trim Castle Hotel and The Johnstown Estate.

You will focus on residential conferences, training events, and corporate gatherings, building a strong pipeline across SMERF, associations, and unions. You will own outbound sales, develop relationships from scratch, and travel regularly to Dublin and regional cities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in sales, events or hospitality, ideally within a hotel or venue environment.
• Strong interest in proactive sales and business development.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through outbound sales activity, networking, and client meetings.
• Develop and execute a territory plan focused on Dublin and key regional cities.
• Build a pipeline of qualified opportunities across SMERF, associations, and corporate events.
• Identify and convert opportunities for residential conferences, training programmes, and group events.
