Job summary

Carton House, a five-star resort and Fairmont managed hotel in Ireland, invites applications for a Sales Manager to join the Sales & Marketing team in Maynooth.

You will proactively identify new business opportunities across corporate, group, conference, incentives, and events markets, develop plans to exceed revenue targets, and nurture relationships with clients, agencies, and DMCs. Travel may be required to develop opportunities and close deals.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in proactive hotel sales or business development.
• Track record of securing new business and hitting targets.
• Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Willingness to travel to develop business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business across corporate, group, and events markets.
• Develop and implement sales plans to exceed revenue targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, agencies, DMCs.
• Generate proposals, contracts, and client communications promptly.
• Forecast, report, and maintain an active sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with Sales & Events team to convert enquiries to bookings.
• Represent Carton House at events and industry meetings.
