Sigmar Recruitment seeks an Area General Manager / Regional Manager to provide senior leadership across a portfolio in Cork and the Munster region. You will lead a team, manage client relationships and drive operational and financial performance across contracts.

The role focuses on developing client partnerships, improving profitability, and delivering measurable value while working four days per week across the Cork/Munster area.

Formación

• Significant senior management experience within facilities management and contract management.
• Proven track record at Contract Manager, Account Manager, Regional Manager or equivalent level.
• Experience managing a team of approximately 4–7 people.
• Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence senior decision-makers.
• Demonstrable experience managing operational performance, budgets, profitability and contractual commitments.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and operational compliance.
• Strong influencing, negotiation, communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• A confident, organised and commercially minded approach, with the ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, manage and develop a team of approximately 4–7 people, including contract and operational managers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client contacts, acting as a trusted point of contact and ensuring consistently high levels of client satisfaction.
• Take overall responsibility for the operational and financial performance of your contract portfolio, ensuring commitments are delivered and exceeded.
• Identify opportunities to improve contract performance, increase profitability, develop additional services and support contract retention and growth.
• Ensure appropriate staffing structures are in place and that teams are fully competent, supported and developed.
• Lead performance reviews, succession planning, training and development initiatives across the team.
• Ensure all health and safety, statutory, contractual and company requirements are fully implemented and regularly reviewed.
• Support new business opportunities, proposals, presentations and the mobilisation of new contracts where required.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and operational teams to ensure a consistent, collaborative approach to service delivery.
