Sodexo is seeking a Regional Lead Engineer in Ireland to oversee electrical maintenance, compliance and technical service across a regional portfolio. You will lead site engineering teams and contractors to deliver safe, reliable operations and energy efficiency across our facilities.

The role requires an experienced electrician with leadership capability, strong knowledge of electrical systems, and a commitment to health, safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with Irish Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Craft – Electrical or equivalent.
• At least five years’ experience in commercial, industrial, critical-environment or facilities electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution, switchgear, lighting, small power and Building Management Systems.
• Experience coordinating maintenance programmes, PPM schedules, remedial actions and specialist contractors.
• Good working knowledge of Irish electrical legislation, statutory compliance and electrical safe systems of work.
• Experience using CAFM systems and maintaining accurate maintenance and compliance records.
• Full, valid driving licence for Ireland and willingness to travel regionally.
• Strong leadership, communication, fault-finding and organisational skills, with a customer-focused approach.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate electrical maintenance activities across the region, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant operation of electrical infrastructure.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, statutory inspections and remedial works.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to site engineering teams, electricians and specialist contractors.
• Ensure compliance with Irish electrical legislation, National Rules for Electrical Installations and health and safety requirements.
• Review risk assessments, method statements and contractor documentation, ensuring works comply with safe systems of work.
• Coordinate contractors, permits to work and specialist maintenance activities, including planned shutdowns.
• Monitor maintenance performance, ensure accurate records and certifications, and deliver against KPIs and contractual requirements.
• Support asset management, fault-finding, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
