Job summary

Supermac's is seeking a dedicated Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Technician to join our Connacht & Midlands team. This hands-on role covers maintenance, repair, and service of catering and refrigeration equipment across the region, with travel and emergency response to breakdowns.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years’ experience, is hands-on, and possesses excellent oral and written communications skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in refrigeration or catering equipment servicing and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of servicing and maintenance for catering/refrigeration gear.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and solving problems of catering and refrigeration equipment.
• Repair and maintenance of fridges, freezers, ice-cream machines and cold displays.
• Install and service of refrigeration and catering equipment.
• Complete jobs fully with a positive can‑do attitude.
• Be flexible and work well within a team.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on catering equipment.
• Inspect equipment to detect wear, damage and perform minor repairs.
• Maintain inventories and handle equipment storage and assembly tasks.
• Hold a full clean driving licence.
• Be flexible to work on various catering equipment and adhere to standards.
• Maintain high standards and coordinate with Service Manager and Store Managers.
