The Rotunda Hospital in Dublin is seeking a Porter/Theatre Porter to join our on-site team. Successful candidates will be placed on a panel for future permanent and specified purpose posts, with the panel running for six months.
The Porter will transport goods and items across hospital buildings, with potential out-of-hours duties as required by the department. Strong communication and administrative abilities are essential.

We are currently recruiting for future roles within the Portering Department; successful candidates will be placed on a panel for upcoming posts within the Rotunda Hospital for Porter/Theatre Porter posts. The panel formed will be for a 6-month period.
The Porter will transport goods and items throughout the hospital and ancillary buildings in a timely and efficient manner out of hours if required. The duty of the Porter may vary according to the particular area of assignment.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Professional Qualifications and Experience
(i) Possess a Junior Certificate or equivalent qualification
OR
(ii) Possess an equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction similar to (i)
AND
(iii) Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with other staff/Management and patients
AND
(iv) Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability and administrative ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
