Job summary

Cliff at Lyons, a luxury countryside retreat, is seeking an experienced Reception Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time position with flexible hours to cover early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a similar role, excellent English, and familiarity with HotSoft (preferred). Join us for outstanding guest service, competitive salary based on experience, and opportunities for professional growth in a premium hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent written & spoken English.
• Ideally 3+ years' experience in a similar role but training will be provided.
• Experience with HotSoft is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Reservations emails and general Hotel inquiries.
• Supervise Reception Team and assist Front Office Manager in all duties.
• Manage room allocations in line with guest preferences and special requests.
• Process new bookings, modifications, and cancellations in the hotel system (HotSoft).
• Ensure all reservations are entered correctly with complete guest details.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for arrival.
• Handle customer complaints or refer them to the appropriate department.
