Job summary

Fiduciam, a fintech private credit lender, is expanding its Irish team. This hands-on role covers the full loan life cycle from research to portfolio management, with exposure to the Dublin market and opportunities in London.

Your mission:

This is a hands-on role within our Irish team, with exposure to the full life cycle of Fiduciam’s loans, from researching and structuring new enquiries to dealing with current clients and managing the portfolio.

In this role, you will take day-to-day responsibility for the existing loan portfolio, supporting the underwriters with monthly drawdowns, maintaining accurate loan records and helping to navigate potential default positions. Beyond the desk, you will visit properties, build relationships with clients and third parties, and develop a thorough understanding of the real estate and development lending market. From here, you can progress into origination, underwriting or portfolio management, with the scope to grow alongside our Irish business.

Specific Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibility is to support the management of our current loan portfolio, which includes:

• Managing a portfolio of live loans from drawdown through to redemption;
• Documenting your understanding of each loan to support underwriters in assessing and approving drawdowns;
• Monitoring each loan against its facility terms, including drawdown conditions, security and exit strategy;
• Engaging with borrowers and their advisors on project progress, repayments and exit plans;
• Visiting properties to monitor development progress and the quality of our security;
• Preparing portfolio reporting and performance data for management and investor relations;
• Applying sound risk judgement, underpinned by knowledge of our credit policy and compliance requirements;
• Liaising with internal teams, including investor relations and operations;
• Liaising with our valuers and solicitors on valuations, documentation and security; and
• Maintaining accurate loan records and tracking the performance of every loan in the portfolio.
