Job summary

Connected Health Group Limited is seeking a confident Rapid Response Healthcare Assistant to deliver urgent, hands-on care to clients in their own homes across Ireland. You will support immediate care needs, adapt to changing packages, and help ensure safety, comfort and independence for service users in their communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in homecare (1+ year) in Ireland.
• QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care is required.
• Driving licence and access to a car are essential for travel between clients.
• Calm under pressure due to rapid response requirements.
• Strong communication and organisation are important for scheduling and reporting.
• Weekend flexibility is expected with a rota-based system.

Responsibilities

• Shadow staff and monitor Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Undertake rapid response duties: fill new packages and discharges as needed.
• Evaluate and report on care quality to the area manager.
• Check and collect journal notes from clients' homes.
• Deliver care plans, log sheets, gloves, and PPE to client homes when required.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
